Cast Off

Study passage: Isaiah 55:7

The Christian life is very similar to taking a voyage to a promised land. The Promised Land is the Kingdom of Heaven. We are like pilgrims and strangers that are passing through this place, heading towards the promised land that is coming in the future. In order to embark on the Christian journey, similar to a ship in a harbor, a person needs to cast off. They need to turn away from the things of this world, let them go, and focus on the things that are coming in the future. A person who is professing Christianity should be a person who has forsaken their ways, for the ways of the Lord. Join us as we learn more.
