Moments of Truth

Moments of Truth

Feb 4, 2007

Many false church groups out there today are willfully associating themselves with people who refuse to repent of their sinfulness. They fellowship openly and unashamedly with people who are involved with the works of darkness. Instead of separating themselves from those who are caught up in such sinfulness, as the bible clearly teaches us to do, they embrace them. For a large list of some of them, take a look at them for yourself by clicking (HERE)

It’s clear that all of us are sinners who can have the opportunity to change our ways and go to heaven because of the grace of Christ Jesus found in His blood on the cross, but if people don’t repent, they most certainly will perish. Repentance is a requirement.

Repentance is becoming a forgotten word nowadays. People sadly think that everyone is going to be in heaven, and there is no need to abandon their sins. Well, everyone who names the name of Christ is supposed to depart from iniquity. This means if a homosexual is claiming Christianity, he should no longer be practicing that lifestyle. If a thief is claiming Christianity, he is no longer stealing things, make sense? That’s what true repentance is. It happens through authentic faith in the Lord.

Today, many people claim Christianity, yet they walk openly in their sins, but remember this, if they don’t turn from that life, they are going to perish in their sins. The reason why is because they never bothered to turn away from them and properly repent of them. They never began the walk of holiness and Godliness, the life of righteousness found in Christ Jesus.

Some of the sinners that Jesus preached too were repenting of their sins, abandoning their old lives of sin for a life of holiness found in Christ. If you know someone who is claiming to be a Christian and they are involved with sin, or they tell you that their sin is OK, or that they are not turning from that lifestyle, you can call them what they really are, the devil. They are God mockers.

Jesus died so that we could become new creatures, not so that we would continue walking openly in sinfulness. Those who do such things turn the grace of God into lasciviousness, and do so to their own condemnation.

The Apostle Paul told the Christian church in 2 Corinthians 12:21

“ And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed. “

The church wasn’t repenting of their sins in this verse. They weren’t turning away from their sins and beginning a new walk in Christ. They weren’t turning from their wickedness unto Godliness.

Matt 21:32 “ For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. “

In this verse, the harlots and publicans believed John the Baptist and had repented of their wickedness, but the religious leaders of the day were not. They were still involved in their sins.

Remember, repentance is required to get to heaven. I hope everyone heard that quite clearly. If you don’t repent, if you don’t ever bother to turn away from your sins and do the right thing, you never really repented in the first place, and therefore will not get there.

Repentance is a change, a change of heart, a change from worldliness to Godliness, from natural man to Spiritual man. Without this change, there is no real repentance and again,... repentance is required to get to heaven.

The reason why many people who are involved with sin won’t show up in a real church is because they know for a fact that the wickedness that they are involved with is going to be reproved by someone. So what they do is hang out at the church of the false prophet who ordains his false prophetess wife to speak in their false religious meeting and gather all of the unrepentant together who walk openly in their sins. They embrace, and even promote the sinful lives of the impentent. A place where the sinner feels welcome, with no need to change. That group is kind of like the Titanic, they are destined for destruction.

But hear this, if people don’t repent and turn from their lifestyles they will not be going to a place of enternal happiness. God is not mocked. If a person continues to walk in sin, they will reap sin’s wages. If they walk in righteousness and follow the way of righteousness, the way that the Lord would have us walk, they will be saved.

No amount of false teachers doctrines will ever change this biblical truth....

NO REPENTANCE,......NO HEAVEN.

And that my friends, is the way it is.
