Apparently, Pope Benedict told a general audience that…
“ whoever seeks peace and the good of the community with a pure conscience, and keeps alive the desire for the transcendent, will be saved even if he lacks biblical faith.”
This is an outright lie against the truth of God’s Holy Word.
Hear and listen to the Word of GOD….
Mark 16:16 “ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned. “
This means if someone doesn’t believe in Jesus, (have faith in Him) they will be damned.
Romans 10:13 “ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Hence, if someone doesn’t call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, they certainly will not be saved.

Obviously, without biblical faith in Christ Jesus, a person is certainly not a child of God, I repeat, IS NOT, a child of God, because they don’t have Christ Jesus. And in that state they have no hope of eternal bliss. Many people today claim to believe in God, but with out biblical faith in Christ Jesus they will not enter into eternity. This is because they still abide in their sins.
That’s why is says in 1 John 4:3 “ And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. “

Pay close attention to the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ, who IS GOD IN THE FLESH.
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

It’s incredibly OFFENSIVE that a person would say such an outright lie. This is completely contrary to the teachings of the WORD OF GOD. A person without biblical faith remains in their sins. They don’t have a pure conscience because they have never been cleansed through the blood of Christ, and the bible concludes that everyone is a sinner who must repent to be saved. Without Christ Jesus, a person cannot be saved and certainly does not please God.

Remember, that Catholocism is not compatible with Christianity. The reason why is because Christianity is about faith in Christ. The pope by His own words teaches that biblical faith is not required to be saved. Therefore, since biblical faith, according to them, is not required, they are not Christians and those who deny the teachings of the Lord are certainly not from God.
What does the Word of God command us to do with these kinds of people?

Romans 16:17-18 “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. “
Everyone has a choice to make who they are going to listen too. You can choose a man who rejects biblical faith, or you can choose the Word of God. Quite frankly, we will have nothing to do with them, just as the bible teaches us to do.
