Who purchased a 23,000 dollar commode?

Who purchased a 23,000 dollar commode?

This sound’s absolutely ludicrous doesn’t it? It’s comparable to the lifestyles of the rich and famous. It’s hard to imagine that a person who’s professing the Christian faith would pay such an outrageous price for a trivial worldly possession such as this, but they did. Today’s rapacious wolves have turned the Christian faith into a way to become quite wealthy! Truly, they are lovers of unrighteous mammon.

The founder of the false religion known as Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, once said "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wanted to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion."

Today many of these false teachers have done just that. They have used the church as a way to line their own pockets, and live a life of luxury.

Not only did Joyce Meyer purchase a 23,000 dollar commode for herself, but according to records, she purchased a pair of Dresden vases for 19,000 dollars, a 30,000 dollar malachite round table, not to mention a 10 million dollar challenger jet, and a 20 million dollar office. What a shock isn’t it? In fact, that’s just a very, very small tip of the iceberg! Instead of telling others how much the ministry pays here and her family, she simply states, "I don’t make any more than I’m worth."

Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 19:2-24 "Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

The love of money is the root of all evil. Not only is Joyce Meyer one of the greatest false bible teachers in history, but she is using the money to finance her high on the hog lifestyle, a lifestyle that is synonymous with a false gospel known as the "prosperity gospel."

Covetousness is idolatry, and because of it, the wrath of God cometh upon disobedient children. Joyce Meyer covets a 23,000 dollar commode, displaying openly to the world not only her disobedience, but making an open mockery out of the truth of the Christian faith.

Jesus became poor, so that we could become rich.

Joyce Meyer, on the other hand, becomes rich, so that others can become poor.
