Beware of false prophets

Study passage: Matthew 7:15-20

Have you ever read a sign that said "beware of the dog?" When you beware of something it means you are very cautious. You would be very careful around a home that had this sign posted, wouldn't you? Well, in our lesson today we learn that the bible teaches us to beware of false prophets! These men appear just like a defenseless sheep, but underneath their false humility, they are a wolf in disguise. They are men who are filled with all kinds of sinfulness and iniquity. The Pharisees appeared outwardly righteous unto men, even very religious, but the truth was, they were very different people on the inside. Inside their hearts they were filled with darkness, covetousness, and greed. Join us as we learn more!
