Today we are going to talk about giving in the church. In this passage today, the Apostle refers to it as a bounty, which is something that is given generously. The Apostle Paul was not a man who was covetous, or concerned about gaining the possessions of others. He believed in the gospel of Christ, and whether or not people gave to the cause, it was going to continue on with or without their help. Sadly, many false preachers out there today cause the name of God to be blasphemed because they are truly extortioners dressed up in sheep's clothing. They pound the pulpits for the church to give more money for their own excesses and greed. Paul was not about that, neither was the true church of the 1611 King James Bible.
