Loving Your Brother

Story Title: Loving your brother
Monday 11/27/06
Study passage: 1 John 3:11-12

The bible teaches us that Cain slew his brother Abel. Abel was a man who gave his very best to God, and the Lord had respect unto Him. But unto Cain and His offering, he had not respect. Cain’s works were wicked, and the reason why he hated his brother so much is because Abel’s works were righteous. The truth is that people should love the fruit of righteousness. They should love those who are filled with holy and Godly fruit. Those are qualities that all of us should desire to attain unto. The bible teaches us to love what is good, not hate it. Jesus is filled with perfect righteousness and never sinned once, yet He was crucified on a cross in Jerusalem. Where is the love? Join us as we learn more.
