Contrary Doctrines

Study passage: Romans 16:17-19

You have to be very careful around people who preach and teach contrary doctrines from the Word of God. The bible teaches us to mark them out, and separate ourselves from them. Division in the church happens over the Word of God. It’s better to be divided over what the Word of God teaches than to be united in error. If someone claims the Christian faith, you would think they would listen to the teachings of the bible, but that’s not always so. Some of them teach contrary things, opposite of sound biblical teachings, and in doing so cause division in the church. A church has no need to divide, if it’s grounded in the truth. Mark those who cause a church to divide because of heretical and false teachings, and avoid those people. Join us as we learn more.
