Covetousness is being excessively desirous of something. It is being filled with avarice or greed. A person filled with avarice has a desire for aquiring and hoarding riches. Covetousness is all about greed. Greed is selfish and grasping desire for possession. Have you ever watched a child at a daycare who is greedy for all of the toys? They try to take all the toys for themselves, and then go sit in a corner somewhere. Well, children like this grow into adults someday, filled up with adult sized covetous appetites. Men who are devoted to a selfish desire to promote their own happiness and welfare. Today we will discuss covetousness, an attribute of the wicked men of the last days. Join us as we learn more.
