Today we are going to talk about having humility towards our Lord and maker. We can show humility towards him in many ways; in our prayer life, in obedience to His Word, and in faithful living. In order to do any of these things, it requires humility before Him. Humility toward the Lord is being submissive unto Him, not filled with a haughty or arrogant Spirit. When someone is filled with humility towards God they are going to have a heartfelt desire to do His will, to become obedient to His teachings, and live in a manner that is pleasing unto Him. Humility should never be confused with rebellion. God will lift up the humble, but those who exalt themselves are going to be brought down low. Join us as we learn more.
