Study passage: Ephesians 3:17-19

Have you ever gone to a class somewhere so that you could understand something a little better? For example, you may have went to a math course, so that you could understand how to do those difficult math formulas. The more you studied those problems, the more you understood them. Comprehension is about understanding something. In the Christian life, we want to fully comprehend the love of Christ, so that we can understand his love and compassion toward sinners, and understand how to live our lives in a way that show Him how much we love Him.
