Someone who is proud shows excessive self esteem, or is haughty. Pride is delight or elation arising from some act, possession or relationship. The bible teaches us that God resists proud people. He stands firmly against them. He opposes and repels them. Have you ever noticed how an infant will push away certain kinds of food? You may take a spoonful of food and put it up to their mouth and they hold their mouth shut. They resist the food. They may even reach out their hands for the spoon and push it away. God pushes away the proud, and awards grace to those who are humble before Him. Men in the last days will be filled with proud hearts. Join us as we learn more.
