Below are is a large list of groups who are ordaining women, or allowing them to speak and teach in the church. Just click on one of them. Why is it wrong to ordain women? Why is it wrong for them to teach? Why is it wrong for them to take authority or leadership over a man?

1 Corinthians 14:34-38 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. (emphasis added)

The Apostle Paul wrote many things to the church in various epistles, that should be recieved as the Word of God. They are the commandments of the Lord. Those who are ignoring his words are being wilfully ignorant. They can do that if they choose, but they are not spiritual. We need to accept God's Word as what it truly is, the Word of God.

Remember what the Apostle Paul reminds and teaches us.....Romans 16:17-18 " Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. "
